Mission Statement
The Upper Corentyne Industrial Training Centre seeks to provide Technical and Vocational Education and Training for youths and adults to enable them to contribute to the economic development of the nation.
History
The Centre was commissioned on the 24th June 2006 by the then President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, His Excellency Bharrat Jagdeo. The Upper Corentyne Industrial Training Centre was established as a result of a felt need between the Government of Guyana and the communities of the Upper Corentyne area.
